‘What a load of sh*t’: Jude Bellingham shuts down talk of fallout with Xabi Alonso

After the departure of Xabi Alonso, Jude Bellingham has not decided to remain silent. The English midfielder on his social media denied all the claims from recent reports that he didn’t support the Basque coach, calling the stories “a load of shit” via his JB5 app.

Mario Cortegana of The Athletic recently reported on the locker-room situation at Real Madrid. According to him, Jude Bellingham, along with Vinícius Jr. and Federico Valverde, no longer believed in Xabi Alonso. Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappé, Arda Güler, Aurélien Tchouaméni, Dani Ceballos, and Asensio were believed to still support the Spanish coach.

In response to these reports, Jude Bellingham did not hold back, labeling those who spread the rumors as “clowns”.

"Until now I’ve let far too many of these slide, always hoping the truth would come out in its own time. But honestly… What a load of shit.”

Furthermore, the English midfielder urged fans to stop trusting everything they read from media outlets that seek to generate artificial controversy:

"Do not believe everything you read. Every now and then, these lot need to be held accountable for spreading this kind of damaging misinformation for clicks and added controversy.”.

After being appointed as Real Madrid’s new head coach, Xabi Alonso confirmed that he would use Jude Bellingham as a midfielder. He also described Jude as an “exceptional player.” Under Xabi Alonso’s management, Jude Bellingham made 29 appearances, scoring six goals and providing five assists.

On Monday evening, Xabi Alonso’s departure from Real Madrid sent shockwaves through the media. The contract termination between the two sides was finalized after Real Madrid’s 3-2 defeat to Barcelona in the Spanish Super Cup final. Many players sent messages of thanks and farewell to the 44-year-old coach, including Jude Bellingham, who wrote: “Thank you, Mister. It was a pleasure. All the very best for the future!”.

Soon after, Álvaro Arbeloa was appointed the role as the new head coach of the team.
